Services for Seniors

Services for Seniors are programs developed specifically to assist our Senior Citizens in living independent, healthy, and dignified lives.  Jewish Family Service is a member of the New Jersey EASE network of information and referral for seniors. Older Adult Services Include: Arranging for Meals-on-Wheels and Kosher Meals-on-Wheels, as well as coordinating emergency meals from volunteer organizations. Our skilled and professional social workers also evaluate living conditions and problems affecting individuals, such as food, housing, and medical conditions. We also provide comprehensive assessments and support for relatives in their efforts to help elderly family members.  Seniors are linked to services to help them remain in the home with safety and dignity.  They are helped to enhance their quality of life.  If more supportive living situations are needed, we assist in making those referrals and the reducing the stress of the transition.  Call for information or to make an appointment.  We are here to help!
